FCS Global is an Irish based global independent communications company that provides communication solutions, which include voice, data and networking services to over 170 countries and has emerged as one of the fastest growing suppliers of communication solutions and IT services worldwide.

Currently, FCS Global employs almost 40 staff in Romania in its Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca operations. The new Centre of Excellence in Cluj-Napoca will play a central role in the development of FCS Global in areas such as service delivery, training, and worldwide customer service. The additional jobs will be rolled out in the Service Delivery Management department, which will provide multi-lingual support for clients.

Speaking at the launch, Irish Ambassador to Romania, Oliver Grogan, stated: “Since my appointment as Irish Ambassador to Romania, I have been keenly aware of the impressive development of FCS Global worldwide, including in this country. The opening of its Centre of Excellence in Cluj is a statement of confidence in the potential of Romania. I see it as one of the things that make Ireland relevant in Romania,” he said.

FCS Global Managing Director, Mike Rowland added, “This is the latest step in the continued development of FCS Global following our recent expansion into countries such as Russia, the USA and South Africa in 2013. Further plans are underway to reciprocate our operations in Cluj in our other locations such as Ireland which will meet the continuing growth of our global operations and service capability and will ensure the highest level of service delivery for our customers," he added.
